چکیده

A novel rod-shape BaNiSn-Graphene oxide decorated TiO2 composite (BaNiSn-GT) has been synthesized using a simple ultrasonic method to enhance the visible-light-driven H2 evolution with cationic scavengers. The unique structure between interfaces of and provides graphene contact excellent electron transfer for activity. BaNiSn-GT ternary photocatalyst exhibits relatively high photocatalytic activity hydrogen rate 1012 μmol/g during 4 h. On other hand, exhibited significantly higher rates 870 TEA scavenger 730 LA 1 h, respectively. Moreover, photocurrent density is correlated electron–hole recombination, providing evidence its inhibition, which leads longer lifetime carriers produced by photoelectrons. mechanism based on full physicochemical characterization was proposed. This study new insight into efficient hydrogen-evolution graphene-based photocatalysts.

A visible-light-driven composite photocatalyst of TiO2 nanotube arrays and graphene quantum dots

TiO2 nanotube arrays are well-known efficient UV-driven photocatalysts. The incorporation of graphene quantum dots could extend the photo-response of the nanotubes to the visible-light range. Graphene quantum dot-sensitized TiO2 nanotube arrays were synthesized by covalently coupling these two materials. The product was characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR), scanning e...

A visible light driven doped TiO2 nanophotocatalyst: Preparation and characterization

A useful nanophotocatalyst (La,S-TiO2) was prepared by a sol-gel method and characterized by UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), photoluminescence emission spectroscopy (PL) and scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). The results showed that the La,S-TiO2, which calcined at 550 °C, contained only anatase phaseand its crystal size was 23 nm...

Pt‐Decorated g‐C3N4/TiO2 Nanotube Arrays with Enhanced Visible‐Light Photocatalytic Activity for H2 Evolution

Aligned TiO2 nanotube layers (TiNTs) grown by self-organizing anodization of a Ti-substrate in a fluoride-based electrolyte were decorated with graphitic-phase C3N4 (g-C3N4) via a facile chemical vapor deposition approach. In comparison with classical TiO2 nanotubes (anatase), the g-C3N4/TiNTs show an onset of the photocurrent at 2.4 eV (vs. 3.2 eV for anatase) with a considerably high photocur...
